How to integrate SureConnect with Clay

On Clay, create your table OR copy our Public Template to your workspace. Here, you can add the contacts for verification. To completed the setup, all we need is the API keys from SureConnect.




On SureConnect, go to My Account → API to copy your API Key. You can also regenerate it by clicking on the “Generate New API Key” button.





Back in the copied Clay template, select the API column verifyContacts and click on Edit Column. Scroll down to Headers (Optional) and paste your API Key in the box in front of key API-Key.

Note, to start the verification right here, you can click on “Save and run for {n} rows”. Or skip it by clicking “Save and don’t run”. For more details head over to “How to Verify Contacts” section.





Repeat above steps for API column getVerificationResults in the Clay table.





And that’s it! We have completed the setup.

How to Verify Contacts

Once you are done with Setting up SureConnect on Clay as suggested above, follow the steps below.

You can run the API column verifyContacts by selecting the appropriate option in Run Column option menu. This will submit the contacts at SureConnect for verification. Here is how to run after replacing API Key.

Once you receive an email notification about verification completion for list or contact(s), repeat the above steps for API Column getVerificationResults. This will fetch the verification results back from SureConnect. Here is how to run after replacing API Key.

Here is how the column will look after the hits have run successfully after the verification process has been completed. As you can see, the status of the verification is Completed (present in “Sureconnectstatus” column) and the outcome is present in Sureconnectoutcome column,

Notes

Please note that verification might take some time based on the length of your list and data availability.
You will get an email notification once the verification is completed.
You can then hit the getVerificationResult column at any time to fetch the latest verified contacts.
